Time series analysis of ACP

In the Fall of 2019, the panel decided to undertake a thorough examination of ACP populations in CA. The data here is the result of that examination, and more results will be posted as they are completed.

We examined the percent of traps in commercial groves that caught ACP since 2014. We found that Imperial’s populations peak in fall and late-spring. Riverside populations peak primarily late summer through mid-winter. San Bernardino populations exhibited fewer seasonal differences, and less pronounced peaks in winter and spring. San Diego’s populations are high year-round. Ventura’s populations peak dramatically starting in late summer and not do not begin to decline until mid-winter.
